How could one get excited about pizza dough or any dough for that matter - dough? Really? Yes...I love making bread of all types, the smell of the dough, watching it rise, the olive oil coating the bowl and getting on my hands - it's a great moisturizer actually! So here's a gorgeous bowl of pizza dough that I threw together on Friday - we would have pictures of the pizza too but - well it got eaten to quickly!
Pizza #1
Mozzarella cheese, black olives, mushrooms with red sauce
Pizza #2
Mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, artichoke hearts and olives, red sauce also...
Pizza #3
Homemade pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, red peppers and feta cheese
hello, dear carolyn! this is my first time on your blog! lovin' it, sista. i was so excited to see your pizza dough post because making homemade pizza dough is one of my favorite dinners. i'm with you on the smell, the taste, the experience. i cheat and use my breadmaker, but it's still the real deal. for jaelyn's birthday party, i had dough made ahead of time and the girls rolled and put togehter their own pizzas. it was such fun.
ReplyDeletei'm just so excited to find you in this bloggy land! and your picture here is fantastic!
So, Paul and I want the recipe and to get together to make pizzas with our families sometime. Paul actually drooled over this picture of dough in a bowl. Now, that is saying something for this cook sitting beside me! We need more info my dear!
